PASM 2022
2022 Overview:
The 6th Annual Plastic Aesthetic Surgery Meeting (PASM) Singapore was a full day program held on 17th September 2022 held at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, Singapore. This event successfully convened 150 professionals from diverse backgrounds within the field of plastic surgery. This included local regional plastics surgeons, residents, nursing, and allied health members with the common vision of knowledge exchange, research sharing, and solidifying local and regional collaboration. The overarching theme of the of PASM 2022 was on periorbital rejuvenation in the Asian eyelids. Invited international experts included Dr Cho In Chang from Korea and Dr Lai Chung Sheng from Taiwan. Our Internationally renowned local experts included Dr Woffles Wu, Dr Wong Chin Ho, and Dr Wong Manzhi.

Periorbital Management of Eyelids in Facial Nerve Conditions
Throughout this meeting, several key themes emerged, each addressing significant aspects of the functional and aesthetic facets of peri orbital rejuvenation. Notably among these themes were upper blepharoplasty in the Asian eyelid, encompassing high fold correction, epicanthoplasty, functional blepharoptosis correction and blepharospasm management. Anatomical lower blepharoplasty featuring the mid cheek lift, lower eyelid tightening lateral tarsoplasty, in addition to revision or secondary lower blepharoplasty approaches were highlighted.
